Light & Fast Performance Catamaran
A light catamaran for fast coastal cruising
Designed by Nicolas Purnu, the composite Ventio catamaran weights only 2.9 tons for an upwind sail area of 50 to 88 m2.
The standard yacht is equipped with twin fins for a 89 cm draft. Two rotating dagger boards may be installed as an option under the main cabin beds, for a draft between 60 cm and 2,10 m.
The yacht comfortably sleeps up to six guests in its four cabins and is delivered with either a convertible open deck platform or a composite coach roof.
Each Ventio is equipped with two sails, a 3.3 m or 5 m carbon bowsprit, three or five Harken winches, and one or two outboard engines.
Each hull features a nice aft cabin with 1.88 m headroom and a 140 x 200 cm double bed which may convert as a sofa during the day. The bow cabins are accessible by both the forward decks and the main cabins.
The Ventio is available for order in four main configurations;
- The Ventio OpenSpace is the lightest unit, and it may be shipped overseas dismounted inside two 40 feet containers.

- The Ventio Grand Tourisme features a composite coachroof, a large galley on the deck, an electric windlass, and one bath.
- The Ventio Electric is a Ventio Grand Tourisme equipped with two 6 kW e-pods, lithium batteries, and 1100 W solar panels.
- The Ventio Spirit comes with a 14 meter carbon rotating mast, two rotating daggerboards, two high-end Aramide sails, one bath, and an extensive set of NKE electronics for a 3.1 tons light weight.
